Drapery Hardware Installation Instructions

• The installation hardware will come assembled. Unscrew the base plate from the

  threads on the bracket arm. (Fig. 1) 

  • You may need to loosen the base plate cover – this piece easily unscrews from

    the bracket arm.

• There are two different installation brackets for our telescoping drapery rods – one for the Outer side of the rod, and one for the Inner side of the rod. (Fig. 2)
  • Bracket for OUTER side rod has a THINNER plastic strip.
  • Bracket for INNER side of rod has a THICKER plastic strip.
• When facing the opening for installation, the larger diameter side of the rod installs on the left-hand side, the smaller diameter side on the right. (Fig. 3 – 4)
  
• Measure for the top hole placement to install the base plate. This measurement varies based on drapery top treatment type:

• Install the base plate with the provided screws.
• Thread the bracket arm onto the baseplate (Fig. 6). Once the bracket arm is tight to the baseplate, screw the baseplate cover down to complete the bracket.
  • If the bracket arm does not thread fully on to the base plate and remain in the proper upright position, installing the baseplate cover will tighten the arm to the baseplate. (Fig. 7)

• Install the drapery or necessary rings to the drapery rod.
  • Remember to keep the Outer side of the rod to the left (Fig. 8), Inner side to the right (Fig. 9).

• Install the drapery rod and drapery.
  • The rod will snap securely into the brackets.
  • If your drapery rod arrives with the inner locking mechanism exposed (Fig. 10), simply loosen the threads and allow the rod to back slide over it. This will correct the orientation of the rod and locking mechanism for adjustments (Fig. 11).
