Puckers Along Ribs- ABS FRS - FAQ

Modified on Thu, 9 Jul at 10:27 AM

Frequently Asked Fabric Roman Shade Question:

QUESTION:

My knife pleat roman shade has puckers all along the ribs. What can be done?

EXPLANATION:

It is possible that the puckers along the ribs are caused by tension in the sewing of the rolled good. This is usually caught in QC.
Steaming can sometimes help reduce the wrinkled look, but if it does not help, a remake will be necessary. As it is not possible to completely eliminate puckers for some fabrics, it is recommended to remake the shades one at a time and receive pictures for the customer to approve from the factory prior to shipping.

PROPOSED RESPONSE:

We are sorry to hear your customer is not happy with their shade quality. Thank you for reaching out!

If it's okay with you and the customer, we'd like to have the factory remake one of the shades first and share photos with you to approve before completing the rest of the shades and shipping them.

Would you let me know if proceeding with this plan is okay?

I look forward to hearing from you.  And again, my sincerest apologies!

**Customer Approves Plan**

Thanks for getting back to me.  I will start the remake process and let you know as soon as I have a date.  We will ask for this to be rushed, but I will send photos of the first remade shade as soon as they are available.

I'm so sorry for all of the trouble with this order.  We will do whatever we can to have this resolved for you and your customer asap.
