Frequently Asked Woven Wood Sliding Panel Questions:

Question:

A customer orders a woven wood sliding panel and the panels are getting caught on the gliders and will not pass each other. What is the most likely problem?

Explanation: The twill edge binding is thicker. The silk and ramie edge binding are thinner and less likely to get caught in the glider.

Answer:
The edge binding is too thick, we recommend a remake using a ramie or silk edge binding if twill was originally ordered. If ramie or silk edge binding was ordered, the likely issue would be a track or operator error and we can offer to remake track and panels if necessary.
