Frequently Asked Dual Sheer Shade Question:
QUESTION: What is the Moire Effect for Dual Sheer Shades?
EXPLANATION:
Based on the lighting within the room or the presence of screens, the Moire effect is a possible outcome. It is an issue that occurs when the fabric has a very fine, thin sheer band. Most of our fabrics experience this effect unless the sheer portion of the band is woven with a thicker thread, or fabrics with wider mesh gaps. The resolution is to offer the customer a remake, allowing them to choose a different fabric (with a larger mesh) within the same price group or lower, a refund, or to choose a different product.
The Airtable will include a section indicating which fabrics are more likely to experience the Moire Effect.
PROPOSED RESPONSE:
Unfortunately, this is an unavoidable effect in most dual sheer fabrics, particularly in windows located in shaded areas or areas with significant reflected light. This effect typically does not appear in very bright or very dark windows, and it may also occur when a window screen is present. We’re happy to help by offering a remake in a different fabric within the same price group or lower, a refund, or the option to choose a different product.
