QUESTION:

Can a dual sheer shade be made with the mesh at the top?

EXPLANATION:

There are 2 different fabrics that make up a dual sheer shade. 1

1. main fabric

2. mesh

The standard production of a dual sheer shade is the top band of the shade (when the shade is fully lowered at the ordered length) is the main fabric. On rare occasions a customer may request that mesh at the top of the shade. 

In order to make the shade this way, the stationary back panel that is attached to the cassette will need to be attached by the mesh, not the main fabric. This is not recommended since the mesh is not as durable as the main fabric, but is still covered under warranty.

PROPOSED RESPONSE:

Yes, but the shade is at a greater risk of tearing so we do not recommend this.
