What is this clip that's keeping my shade from opening?
EXPLANATION:
This part is the Cordless Natural Roller Shade Hem Clip, it is meant to keep the bottom hem bar secure during transit.
Without it, the bottom hem bar could slip into the cassette during transit leading to fabric damage.
The part was added to completed shades starting on 04/08/2026.

This part is the Natural Roller Shade cordless hem clip, it is meant to keep the bottom hem bar secure during transit.
Without it, the bottom hem bar could slip into the cassette during transit leading to fabric damage. This part was added to all cordless Natural Roller Shades early April 2026.
The part of the clip that is attached to the cassette should be removed just before the cassette is installed, then carefully remove the clip off the bottom bar. The clip should be discarded after removal.
