Frequently Asked ILU Fabric Roman Shade Question:

QUESTION:

Can I order 1 loose valance to install over multiple side by side shades?

EXPLANATION:

Customers may request 1 common continuous valance when ordering multiple side by side shades that would typically be made with individual valances. (Please refer to the product guide to learn about 2 on 1 headrail valances).

Continuous valances are not available from the factory due to the general construction of the shade.

• Most of the time, the common valance width requested is outside our max width to ship
• Fabric Roman Shades headrails are fabric wrapped, and in order for the loose valance to be installed, it would need to be attached to its own headrail. This additional headrail needs to be installed in front of the shades, increasing the overall required depth, or installation area. 
• Fabric Roman Shade valances are made with a bottom hem + weight and cannot be folded to ship
• Most fabrics require seaming over a certain width

If a customer requests a common, continuous valance, we cannot make it, but we can offer the customer cut fabric for them to have the valance made in a local work room. The customer would need to let us know if they prefer no valances on the individual shades, or have them made as normal.

Im sorry, we are currently unable to make a loose, continuous valance, however you can order cut fabric and have the valance made by a local workroom! If you do decide to order cut fabric, please let us know if you would like the individual shades made with or without the valances.
