How to Clear Cache/Cookies
PIC works best within the Firefox, especially when the cache/cookies are cleared monthly. Follow the steps below to clear them.
IOS:
If the customer is using a MAC or other IOS device with Google Chrome:
1. Open the browser. When the browser is clicked (ie. website is open), go to the right of the apple logo and click 'Chrome'. Then, right click on 'Settings'
2. Within the settings, search the word 'cookies'. Then click 'Delete browsing data'.
3. Select what you would like to clear, and the time range, then delete data.
Go to Safari > "Settings" > "Privacy" > "Manage Website Data" to clear specific websites or all data.
- Desktop: Open Chrome, click the three dots in the top-right corner, and select "More Tools" > "Clear browsing data" or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Delete
Go to "Menu" > "More" > "Settings" or "Menu" > "Settings" > "Privacy & Security".
Tap "Clear cache", "Clear history", and "Clear all cookie data.
- Clearing cache and cookies can resolve issues like websites loading slowly, not displaying correctly, or displaying outdated content.
- Some websites may require you to re-login after clearing your data.
