A customer has just gotten a new remote and discovered that the letter P is on the remote screen and the remote won’t operate. We’ve never seen the letter P on the screen before. Can you tell us what this means?
Answer:
The screen showing the letter "P” means that the P2 button on the back of the remote (under the battery cover) is pressed and the remote is in programming mode. The P2 is for changing the shade’s speed. If the button is not pressed, be sure to check if the button is stuck.
If the button is not stuck, try pressing P2 again. If it still has the 'P' on the screen, then there must be something wrong with the remote.
