QUESTION:

Customer wants to retrofit a motor into an outdoor shade, and plans to install the shade inside.

EXPLANATION:

7/21/2026 XDM does not offer a motorized option for their outdoor shades, this is not available yet because the motor and charger must be compliant with the outdoors.

We also do not have any collar or drives that fit the profile of the tube.

The customer will need to wait until motorization is available, or select a different fabric from a different indoor product.

Outdoor Shades and indoor Roller Shades are produced at different factories.
