QUESTION:

Can a customer add or replace a fabric insert to the bottom bar?

EXPLANATION:

The factory uses adhesive tape to keep the fabric insert from shifting or falling out of the bottom bar on all styles of bottom bars, making replacing difficult.

• Square Bottom Bar Adhesive Start Date and PO: 11/17/2023, PO 393074
• Cordless Bottom Bar Adhesive Start Date and PO: 10/20/2025, PO 599577

Adding or replacing bottom bar fabric inserts is only available for cordless bottom bars when the order was originally placed without fabric wrap, or the order was placed before the factory started using adhesive tape. 

It is not recommended to replace round or square fabric inserts. Replacing may lead to misalignment or fabric bubbles.

PROPOSED RESPONSE:

Replacement fabric inserts are only available after production when the original shade was ordered without a fabric insert, or before the factory started using an adhesive date to secure the fabric in place. 

If the shade was ordered with a fabric wrapped bottom bar and the fabric was received damaged or dirty, the shade will need to be remade due to the factory using an adhesive strip to the fabric to keep it in place, making replacement difficult.
