Minimum Widths Different By Product- FAQ- NRS/NS

Frequently Asked Natural Shade Questions:

A customer calls in wondering why there are multiple different minimum widths, even within similar woven wood collections. Why?

Answer:

There are two parts to the motorized minimum width: the motor itself and the components that hold the motor to the headrail and operate the shade. Things like brackets and idle ends will all influence the minimum width, and since each factory/product does things differently, that is the reason for the variations.

Additionally, there is a little bit of space in the tube between the idle end and the motor to keep the motor and idle end from rubbing. Sometimes a customer will request something slight outside of our minimum width to fit a certain window. That extra space is why we can make some allowances outside of spec.
