QUESTION: What is Clutch Adjacent?

EXPLANATION: Clutch Adjacent is for Standard w/valance shades. This is a standard specification to keep the stack of the raised shade from interfering with the cord loop. This means that the fabric will be narrower than the ordered width on the control side, allowing the cord to hang to the side of the shade.

PROPOSED RESPONSE: For Standard w/Valance shades, the Continuous Cord loop being Clutch Adjacent is part of the shade construction. The deduction to the fabric that is taken on the control side is to prevent the cord loop from rubbing against the fabric, which could potentially cause damage to the shade over time. Since this is standard, it can not be altered.

This does not apply to Waterfall Shades. You can always advise the customer to change the shade style to Waterfall, or change the control type to help minimize any light gaps.
