Can I order a Dual Sheer Shade as motor ready?
We strongly recommend against ordering Dual Sheer Shades as motor ready. More often than not, when installing the new motor within the tube, the fabric edges get damaged.
We do not allow motor ready dual sheers at all if the shade is wide. If they insist on ordering, let them know that the warranty would be voided. Warranty will not cover damage when switching out the motors.
If shades are ordered as motor ready, the factory will place foam padding between the control end of the tube and the cassette to prevent movement and damage during transit. Photo below:
