Liners on Hobbled Fabric Roman Shades are constructed slightly different between ABS and ILU.
ABS:
- ABS has the liner as a flat panel that is not sewn into the hobbles. Therefore, the front of the shade looks hobbled but the back looks flat.
- The liner is visible as a flat panel from the side view.

ILU:
- Hobbled shades have liners attached within the folds of the face fabric as part of the hobbles, instead of attached as a flat panel.
- This method gives the hobble more structure and allows it to keep a fuller fold.
