Frequently Asked Dual Sheer Shade Question:


1. Q: What is a cordless stopper?

A: A cordless stopper is a small additional spring that is added to the idle end of a cordless dual sheer shade. It adds stability to the the tension of the cordless spring, helping it maintain the set position of the shades during operation. 

The part was laucnhed in October 2025. 


2. Q: When is the cordless stopper added?

A: The cordless stopper is added to any shade that displays type of tension, bounce back, dropping, or fabric weight issues upon final QC. It is not added to every single shade. 



3. Q: Are cordless stoppers added to shades that are side by side? Even if one of the shade is not displaying issues?

A: Yes, the factory will add a cordless stopper to each side by side shade even if the shade(s) does not display issues to ensure the shades operate the same.



4. Q: Will customers be able to tell which shades have the cordless stopper, and which shades do not?

A: Customers cannot see the cordless stopper, so they should not be able to know if it is used or not. It does not change the general operation of a cordless dual sheer shade.



5. Q: Does the cordless stopper protect against freight cordless damage?

A: No, this part does not reduce the risk of cordless damage during shipping.



6. Q: How do we know if a shade was made with the cordless stopper?

The factory did not keep record of which shades included the part and which shades did not. The factory will starting maintaining record March 16, 2026.

Second video: after cordless stopper is added. The shade is no longer dropping at the same position.
