QUESTION:

I see that Pro Design LLC is the "importer" that is listed on the headrail label.  Can you please remove that from the labels?  I do not want my customers to see that since I am the one selling the product to them.

No, this cannot be removed from the headrail label. When importing window treatments into the United States, we have to comply with strict safety rules enforced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Failing to include the required safety tracking labels (stating who the importer is) can result in immediate seizure at customs or a product recall.

The CPSC requires a permanent label or marking of all finished window coverings that must clearly identify:

1. Manufacturer/Importer of Record
2. Manufacturer Date
3. Product Classification
4. Customer Order Information

Since Pro Design LLC is the importer of record/manufacturer, we are legally required to include our name on the manufacturer product label.
