Factory Construction Change: Sheer Fabric FRS

Applies to: All I8 FRS Collections, starting with PO 670291

What Changed

For B/O (Back-Out) Fabric Roman Shades made with sheer face fabrics only, the factory has updated the side hem construction:

• Previous method: Double-turned side hem
• New method: Pillowcase side hem

Why the Change Was Made

The new pillowcase side hem construction provides three key improvements:

1. Reduces visible seam marks on the face of the material
2. Prevents the black of the lining from showing through the sheer face fabric
3. Eliminates edge light bleed caused by gaps between the face fabric and lining

What Stays the Same

All other fabric combinations (non-sheer) will continue to use the existing double-turned side hem construction. This change is specific to sheer face fabrics only.

Next Steps Noted

• A sample will be added to the training room for reference
• The FRS product guides will be updated accordingly to reflect this new construction method
