Q: The customer wants the liner 1/4" wider than the shade. What do I do?
Answer: YX made a test shade and they suggest not making the liner wider than the shade. We want to let the customer know that it is not recommended.
We do not recommend ordering liner wider than the shade. It is possible for us to do, though we want you to be happy with your shades. Please keep in mind that when the liner is wider than the shade, it can make the shade edges look uneven as the bamboo material will shift slightly when operating the shade. If you are interested, we recommend ordering the shade with edge binding instead, which is applied to the sides of both the shade and valance. It is not applied to the bottom of either.
