Frequently Asked Natural Shade Questions:
A customer wants a remake because the bracket holes are not symmetrical on the shade. What do you do?
Answer: We need to explain to the customer that a remake won’t be symmetrical and why.
Some customers expect the slots to be identical, but the factory routes out the slots before they cut the headrails so there is no guarantee they will be the same. The function is the same and it doesn’t make any difference to the function of the shade. The customer needs to install the brackets where the slots are (and they have a few inches of room to install which is why there is a slot not a hole).
Clutch shades need to be installed with attention to detail: the clutch can interfere with the wingnut of the bracket therefore the placement of the slot is not at the end of the headrail, it is more towards the middle.
This applies for all factories.
It is not guaranteed that a remake will have the same slot placement as the original order. The factory does not keep records of slot placement. You cannot request to have a specific location of slots.
