Frequently Asked SLN Natural Shade Question:
QUESTION:
Why did my cordless shade stop lifting?
EXPLANATION:
This is sometimes caused by too much compression on the spring mechanism. If the screws that hold the cordless spring housing in place are too tight, it can wear down the plastic that holds the spring and eventually stop functioning. Sometimes this can be fixed by slightly loosening the screws holding it in place, but if this shade has been operating for a while, it is likely an automatic remake.
PROPOSED RESPONSE:
Try slightly loosening the mounting screws, do not release too much as this screw is what keeps the cordless unit installed to the headrail. If this does not fix the problem, the shade will need remade.
