Frequently Asked Cordless Natural Shade Questions:
A customer was looking over their new shades, and on one they found red tape stuck to the shade material between the shade and the liner. What is this tape is used for and why it would have been left on the shade when it was shipped? The customer feels it is used to mark flaws in the material, and they were sent a sub-standard shade with flaws.
Answer:
The factory does have 2 purposes for red tape to be on the shades. One use is to mark areas of the shade that need to be repaired in the next step of production, such as shifting a warp thread that may have moved. The other is used in the assembly process to mark areas the inspector should pay close attention to. I apologize that these pieces of tape were not removed before this shade was shipped out. If there is any damage, we would be happy to remake the shade.
