QUESTION:
I would like color coordinated brackets with my outdoor shade in a cassette - can you please send me the roller shade cassette installation brackets?
EXPLAINATION:
XDM Cassette brackets are NOT color coordinated to the cassette color.
ABS Cassette brackets are color coordinated to the cassette color.
The brackets are NOT interchangeable - customers cannot use the ABS Roller Shade Cassette brackets on the XDM Outdoor Shade Cassettes.
The ABS Cassette bracket fits the XDM cassette, however the height of the bracket would cause the cassette to tilt forward, and is also not treated for outdoor use.
PROPOSED RESPONSE:
The Roller Shade brackets leave a large gap resulting in an unsecured installation, as well as causing the cassette to tilt. Another factor to keep in mind is our Roller Shade brackets are not rated for outdoor use. These are powder coated which may resist rust, but we can not guarantee that these will not break down overtime.
