Absolute Sliding Panel - Natural Shade
Top Rail End Cap Replacement Instructions
Sometimes the end caps of a panel’s top rails can become dislodged or damaged in shipping.
Follow these simple instructions to remove and replace these end caps.
1. Remove the panel(s) with the damaged or missing end caps. The track can stay installed.
Make sure you have a clean and clear workspace so as not to damage the panel.
2. For Natural Shades, the end cap is a tighter fit, so there is no screw.
- Use needle nose pliers to remove the broken end cap by pulling straight out.
- Replace the end cap by aligning the end cap leg with the channel and hammering it in until flush with the end of the top rail.
- Make sure to replace the end cap with a matching style - short or full coverage end cap.
Each end cap style ensures the panel will properly install to the glider.

3. Finish by re-installing the panel(s) to the track.
