Q: I just received my woven wood shade, and the lines on it aren't straight! Can you remake them straight?
Answer: Ask for images from the customer. If the lines are only slightly off, remind them that it is a natural product and that there are no straight lines in nature. If the lines are very much skewed, then we can offer a remake but need to impress the idea that that too would not necessarily be perfectly straight.
Thank you for your patience. We have reviewed the photos, and we will process a remake and send these photos to the factory. We will send a confirmation once the order is checked over.
I do want to make sure your customer understands that natural jute is a grass and is not going to be perfectly straight. The inconsistencies in the fabric are what make it beautiful and unique. This material is woven by hand without the help of machines. The factory can't perfectly match up the material because no two pieces of fabric are the same. The factory made a wonderful video of their production process for us a few years ago.
