A customer would like to order a patterned roller shade in different colors than what is currently available.
- Email ABS to confirm if the pattern can be customized and ask them to send an image with a numbered repeat. Image A. Example email:
Hello ABS,
A customer would like to customize pattern ECH04, can you please confirm if this pattern can be customized? If yes, please send over an number repeat image for us to provide to the customer.
2. Once ABS confirms, please reach back out to the customer and let them know if the pattern can be customized or not. If yes, provide the numbered image and ask the customer to confirm which part of the repeat needs to be changed, and ask them to provide a very clear image showing which color from an existing patterns needs to be used. Image B, and Image C. Example email:
Hello,
The factory confirmed that ECH04 can be customized. Attached you will find the pattern repeat, please confirm which part of the repeat you would like to customize, and provide a photo clearly marking which color you would like to use instead.
3. Once the customer provides the requested information, send the information to ABS. In this example, the customer wants Circle 1 to be the color #4 in image B, and Circle 4 to be the dark blue in Image C. Ask ABS for a mock up design and send to the customer for approval.
4. Once the design is approved, the order can be placed and all details sent over to the order processing team to note in the order for the factory. The factory should send a photo of the shade for approval before shipping.
If the order is for 10 shades or more, ask the OPS team to create a PO for ABS to send a sample cutting for the customers approval BEFORE placing the shade order PO.
