How do I replace my woven wood shades valance?


EXPLANATION:

Replacement ww valances are requested for a variety of reasons such as: freight damage, or needing a different width.

Required Tools: flat head screw driver, pliers, hammer, hand held staple gun

Steps:

  1. Uninstall the shade.
  2. Flip up the valance and locate the staples that secure the valance to the headrail.
  3. Remove the staples using a flat head screw driver, if the staples are stuck, remove with the pliers.
  4. Position the replacement valance on the headrail, make sure the valance is square and level with the headrail.
  5. Using the staple gun, staple the valance onto the headrail
  6. If the staples are sticking up and not completely flush, hammer them flat.
